FoodGem is an AI-powered meal planning application that helps users create personalized meal plans, discover recipes, manage shopping lists, and track nutrition. Our service uses artificial intelligence to generate recipe suggestions and nutritional estimates.

Important: FoodGem is a meal planning tool and does not provide medical, nutritional, or health advice. The information provided by the app is for general guidance only.

To use certain features of FoodGem, you must create an account. By registering, you agree that:

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age to use FoodGem. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Accurate Information: You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

FoodGem offers subscription plans with the following terms:

• Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Pricing: Premium plan is $4.99 per month. Master plan is $9.99 per month. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with notice.
• Payment Management: Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple's and Google's respective refund policies. We cannot process refunds directly—please contact Apple or Google support for refund requests. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us at legal@foodgem.app and we will assist where possible.

When using FoodGem, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Abuse or overload our AI features, including excessive or automated requests
• Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful content
• Circumvent any access restrictions or limitations of the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

FoodGem and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the application, including all content, features, design, logos, and software. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Recipes and meal plans generated by FoodGem's AI are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may use them for your own meals but may not redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit AI-generated content.

FoodGem does not provide medical, nutritional, or health advice. The calorie estimates, macro calculations, and recipe suggestions are generated by AI and are approximations for informational purposes only.

Always consult your healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have health conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions. We are not responsible for any dietary outcomes, allergic reactions, or health effects resulting from your use of our meal plans and recipes.

FoodGem is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties regarding the service.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

AI-generated nutritional estimates, calorie counts, and recipe suggestions are not guaranteed to be accurate. You use this information at your own risk.

Your use of FoodGem is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our privacy policy at /privacy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to FoodGem at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service, is harmful to other users, or for any other reason.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app, via email, or by posting the updated terms on our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when these terms were last revised.

Your continued use of FoodGem after we post changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the service.
